2. Filter social contents by trusted sources
Social contents are identified from twitter, blogsphere and news shortly after the topics are created. You can scan through tweets, blogs or news on the list page or topic page. For popular topics, the monitor may pull in more than thousands of contents, many of which may be noise to you. To read only contents from trusted sources, you can select trusted contents while reading topic or list contents. In addition, you can add trusted hosts and twitter users directly on the source filter page. Social contents from the trusted sources are shown on the list page.
3. Categorize social contexts
While reading social contents, you can assign category to each social content that is relevant to your interest. There are default categories useful for monitoring product or brand: Sale, customer support, positive sentiment, negative sentiment, product feature, marketing related. You can also create your own categories. If you see spam or obvious commercial, you may exclude them. in order to go through large number of social contents faster, you can cluster the contents first and then categorize on clusters.
4. Identify social contacts
Authors of the categorized social contents are labeled as social contacts. You can view the social contacts and further categorize them as sales leads, influencers, advocates, or fans.
5. Engage with social leads
While reading social contents on topic or list page, you can click on the ENGAGE link to engage with the twitter user, blog author or news publisher. For now, engagement supports posting to twitter network.
6. Route categorized contexts to email alert
On the route settings page, provide email address for email alert. The categorized social contents will be routed to the email address.
